Family-Life TV began on March 7, 1976 as a cable channel on the Clear Channels Cable System in middle Armstrong County, western Pennsylvania. The cable system was later acquired by Adelphia, and subsequently purchased by Comcast. Family-Life TV continued to be offered to subscribers in Kittanning, Ford City, Worthington, and Freeport areas.

In 1998, Family-Life TV began webcasting its 24-hour programming on the Internet via this website.

Today, from it’s studio facility in downtown Kittanning, the station is part of a local┬áthree-media group that includes WKHU Channel 44.2, WTYM AM 1380 radio, and the daily Kittanning Paper.
